September news

Hello again, cyberworld! We have had some great things happen in the Sadie camp this Fall.  Anne and Colleen wrote a song called "Grade 'A' Fancy" that won the Children's Song Showcase at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas. It was quite a treat to play on one of the main stages at the festival, which is home to the National Flatpicking Championships.  The twins also got to play on the fabled Stage 5 in the Pecan Grove with some of their buddies from St. Louis' own The Redheaded Strangers. We called ourselves Sadie's Strangers.  Big shout out to Tim and Maureen Sullivan and Thomas Coriell for the epic jams and all around good times at Winfield. Speaking of our compadre Thomas, you will be seeing more and more of him playing with us.  We are thrilled to have him join us on fiddle, mandolin, guitar, jokes, smiles, and good cheer.  Bring.it.on.

We have some Farmers Market gigs coming up, including Saturday, September 26th at 10 in Kirkwood http://www.downtownkirkwood.com/farmers'-market.aspx  and Saturday October 3rd at 10 at the Midtown Farmers Market https://twitter.com/MidtownFmsMkt   The fall weather has been as perfect as it gets in St. Louis so get out there and enjoy it!  Take care out there, everyone and see you down the road!
:-) Anne.
